Culture Grows: Showcasing Kenya’s Cultural Diversity

  • Informing stakeholders about the importance of learning and preserving our cultural heritage.
  • Driving awareness about cultural heritage among the youth(18-35 yrs).
  • Informing stakeholders about the importance of learning and preserving our cultural heritage.

Our Approach

Who is a Cultural Hero?

We chose to celebrate culture to a momentous climax on Mashujaa Day 2019, aka Kenya’s Heroes Day. Here, we highlighted several cultural heroes who are outstanding in their field. These heroes included trailblazers such as Chef Ali Mandhry, Mwalimu Gregg Tendwa, Filmmaker Wanuri Kahiu, Sauti Sol Band, Poet Mufasa and Poet & Writer Muthoni Garland.
